Clarifying skincare is helpful for acne-prone skin as it deeply cleanses the skin, removing any dead skin cell build-up, excess sebum and other impurities, thus reducing both the appearance of acne and the likelihood of acne occurring.
You’ll learn about:

Ready-to-use formulations and guidelines for formulating your own products
You will receive three formulations from our lab, ready for you to make at home.
- Calming Spot Treatment – to help reduce inflammation and the appearance of spots/acne, by including clarifying ingredients as well as containing chlorophyll liquid to create a light green-colored emulsion that minimizes redness.
- Clarifying Charcoal Cleanser – this gentle surfactant-based cleansing gel cleanses the skin of excess sebum, dirt and oil, which can contribute to the development of acne. It contains antioxidants, humectants, gentle exfoliants, and antimicrobial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory ingredients.
- Clarifying Green Clay Face Mask – this thick, creamy emulsion contains green clay as a physical exfoliator and for its oil-absorption qualities, three humectants for hydration, emollients, and antimicrobial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory ingredients.
