I embarked on a journey to learn the art of natural skincare formulation, and it’s been an incredibly empowering experience. With three children and no formal science background, I initially had doubts about my ability to succeed in this industry. However, [through the Diploma in Natural Skincare Formulation] the School of Natural Skincare provided me with the knowledge and support I needed to excel.
The course was designed in such a way that I could study at my own pace, even during late nights when everyone else was asleep. The step-by-step guidance and access to a supportive community made the learning process enjoyable and manageable, despite my busy schedule.
Thanks to the course, I gained the confidence to formulate my own products, tailor-made for my family and friends. The support group was invaluable, providing quick responses to any questions I had along the way. As a result, I was able to create a brand, Phases, dedicated to providing safe and effective skincare solutions for teens and tweens.
Today, Phases stands as a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and education. I am proud to offer vegan, environmentally-friendly products that promote healthy skin and contribute positively to our planet. Natural skincare is truly the way forward, and I am grateful to the School of Natural Skincare for helping me turn my dreams into reality.”
In this inspiring case study, we sit down with Sannjana Raghu, founder of Phases, a natural skincare brand tailored specifically for teens and tweens. From humble beginnings in South India, Sannjana shares her deeply personal journey into the world of natural skincare, starting from her third pregnancy when she couldn’t stand the fragrances in common soaps and handwashes. This led her to explore DIY solutions for herself and her family.
Discover how a mother’s love and passion for safe, non-toxic skincare evolved into a successful brand that prioritizes sustainability, vegan-friendly formulations, and protection from environmental pollutants like blue light and urban pollution.
With her daughter’s sensitive skin as inspiration, Sannjana created products that cater to young skin, ensuring safety without compromising on efficacy.
Sannjana’s passion for formulation, commitment to ethical skincare, and drive to innovate for young skin shines throughout this interview. Watch her story and get inspired to follow your own natural skincare journey!
